While I work with individuals, I am considered a family specialist. I am an expert in counseling couples individually and as a pair. One of my goals as a marriage therapist is to help people experience improved communication and increased closeness. Healthy relationships help us maintain emotional, mental, and physical health. When we struggle in close relationships, stress impacts all avenues of our lives, and our well-being is compromised.

In addition to couples work, I work directly with families seeking help navigating challenging parenting struggles, such as oppositional behavior or severe anxiety in their child. Using a child-focused approach, as a team, we identify what aspects of the family system can be altered to improve the functioning of the entire family unit. I also provide child therapy for ages 2-18.
